HER, RATED R, SCIENCE FICTION
It is Los Angeles, in the not- too-distant future. A lonely man, who is sadly coming off a failed relationship, becomes interested in a new program on the Internet, where you can actually talk to a programmed girl. She is lovable, and surprisingly funny. Slowly the man and virtual woman start to have an engaging relationship. Genuine love begins. Starring Joachim Phoenix.

I, FRANKENSTEIN, PG-13, SCIENCE FICTION
200 years after Dr. Victor Frankenstein created his monster, the creature still lives and walks the Earth—after all, he really can’t be killed and was last seen floating on an iceberg. Although some called him a monster, he is really not.
In many ways, he is just a misunderstood creature who is unhappy with himself. Anyway, he stumbles on a plot that can destroy humanity once and for all. What will he do? Starring Aaron Eckhart.

THE MONUMENTS MEN, PG-13, DRAMA
Based on a true World War II story, this is about a group of mostly non-military men who are ordered by FDR to go into Nazi Germany and rescue priceless art that Hitler plans to destroy—another reason to despise him. But how are these guys, who are museum directors, art historians, and curators—who know nothing about weapons—going to succeed? Starring George Clooney.

POMPEII, PG-13, HISTORICAL DRAMA
67 AD is not a good year for the Roman resort city of Pompeii. Mt. Vesuvius is about to erupt and a young gladiator slave has it in mind to rescue his true love, who is about to be married to a corrupt Roman senator. Not only does the gladiator have to fight in the arena, but has to somehow get to the city that is fast becoming toast to do it. Good special effects.
